The story
Twelve months in. 44 pounds gone, mostly in the first six. The back half has been small, slow drips and a lot of holding steady. Not the dramatic before-and-after Reddit promises, but I am the lightest I have been since college.
The biggest unlock was treating this as a tool, not a fix. I still meal-prep on Sundays. I still walk 8k steps. The drug just makes those choices feel less like white-knuckling.
Side effects: constipation for the first month (Magnesium citrate, a cup of coffee, and water are now my morning religion). Mild hair shedding around month three that resolved on its own. Burping that smells like sulfur, lol — that one is real and there is nothing to do about it.
Dosage progression
0.25 → 0.5 → 1.0 → 1.7 (current). Stayed at 1.0 for months 4–8.
