The story
Lost 22 lbs in the first 16 weeks, then nothing for six weeks. I was eating about 1500 kcal, walking, lifting twice a week. Frustrating.
What broke it: tracked actual protein for two weeks (was 70g/day, way under). Bumped to 130g/day, dropped intentional cardio to one long walk per weekend, escalated to 2.4mg. Lost 9 more pounds in six weeks.
Lesson: GLP-1s shut off hunger so well that you can accidentally undereat protein and start losing muscle. The scale stalls because your body is composition-shifting in the wrong direction. Fix protein before you do anything else.
